About the Brand: The story of SWATI starts with two people falling in love. Vishal Nanda meets Swati Verma. Boom. Like all great love stories, it transcends borders. Vishal is an experienced Swedish entrepreneur, Swati a well-known Indian makeup artist. He’s struck by her appearance and how it changes with every mood and occasion. A natural beauty one day. Dressed to impress the next. Yet she always looks like herself. Confident. Stylish. Remarkably enough, even her eyes seem to change. From bright to dark and back again. He asks. “Coloured lenses,” she replies smiling. The rest is, as they say, history.
Philosophy: Because beauty has no set standard, SWATI believes it should have no boundaries. That’s why the brand is on a mission to develop products that allow you to express your own kind of beauty. Free from whatever ideals or limitations that norms, gender, and genetics try to impose on you. SWATI is on a relentless pursuit of style, safety, and ease-of-use. You shouldn't have to wonder about how to use the products. Only how wearing them will make you feel.
How to use
Hold your eye open with your free hand, then place the lens with your index finger on the cornea.
Slowly blink and look in different directions to stabilize the lens.
If your eye feels uncomfortable, remove the lens and check if they are on the reversed side or if there is any eyewinker or damage. If the lens surface is fine, rinse the lens with more solution and apply again.
How to tell if a contact lens is inside out:
Putting a soft contact lens in your eye inside out is a painful experience but it can't do any damages. The following guide will teach you how to make sure you put your lenses in the correct way every time.
Place one contact lens on the end of your finger lens-side up.
Hold the lens at eye-level and look at it from the side.
If it forms just a 'U' it’s in the correct position. If the lens forms a 'U' with the top edges flared out, it’s inside out.
Before wearing a lens, make sure it looks like half a ball, not a soup bowl with a rim.
