How to use
Step 1 - Sterilize at the Start of Each Cycle: Before starting your period, always disinfect the Reusable Menstrual Cup by boiling it in water for 5-7 minutes. This will ensure that it is safe and germ-free to go inside your body.
Step 2 - Check the Rim: Always wash hands before holding the cup. Once done, check the rim for any blockage, or the vacuum will not form accurately, leading to leaks.
Step 3 - Fold and Hold: The recommended way of folding the cup is a combination of C-fold and punch-down fold. In this simple technique, flatten and fold it in half so it looks like a letter C. Then, place your finger on the rim and push it down and pinch it to hold the position.
Step 4 - Insertion process: Relax and open your legs wide. Next, open your vagina with your fingers to insert the cup inside.Once in, push it upwards, nearly at the base of your spine. Lastly, twist the cup so it loosens to open and forms a seal.
Step 5 - Check if it Has Opened:Insert the finger to check the fold that determines if it's not opened fully. If open, hold the base and turn it inside a couple of times or pull the cup a little outside, opening it automatically.
Step 6 - Empty it in Time:In the case of regular flow, the menstrual cup can be used for up to 10 hours. But, on heavy flow days, empty at least 3 times.
Step 7 - Removing the Cup:To remove, relax in a comfortable position and then pinch the base of the cup to release the vacuum with your thumb and index finger. Next, hold the stem and pull it out.
Step 8 - Pour and Wash:Once released, pull it out upright and empty it in the toilet bowl or into a drain. The next step is to wash it well with water.
Step 9 - Sterilize It : At the end of your cycle, wash the menstrual cup and sterilize it again before packing it away for your.
