Step 1: Start by cleansing the skin thoroughly. The CeraVe Blemish Control Cleanser is recommended for best results. This spot treatment is recommended for evening use.
Step 2: Use the applicator to dispense the product onto your fingertips.
Step 3: Apply the product evenly across the face for overall use, or focus specifically on affected areas for targeted treatment.
Step 4: Apply CeraVe Blemish Control Gel in the evening. If applied during the day, always use sunscreen – we recommend CeraVe AM Facial Moisturising Lotion with SPF 50.
To prevent excessive drying, start by applying the product once every few days, gradually increasing to daily use or twice daily. If you experience dryness or peeling, revert to once daily or every other day.
*Sunburn Alert: This product contains alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA), which may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and the risk of sunburn. Use sunscreen, wear protective clothing and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.
